Wow. Can't even begin to imagine the sorrow. I'm so sorry for you loss, Jodi. And the kids. Wow, the kids. The loss of a great teacher, role model, and friend is horrible to endure. Thank god they have their music to remember him by. I'm glad that you had such a great year together. Hugs, pally. Hugs to all the band parents, kids, and school. It's a tough one.
Lin- The kids seem to be holding up fairly well--they're leaning on each other...as they should. The assistant band directors are having a rough time. :-( The Seniors remained in the band room through 3rd hour. It is a loss greater in rememberance than say to the Freshmans.
